Work done properly, or not at all
Pendulo is a watch repair workshop on Rattanathibet Road. We handle mechanical and quartz movements with care, at prices that are stated before any work begins.

How Pendulo came to be
Pendulo started in a small room off Rattanathibet Road, where the founder Khun Weerachai had spent fifteen years working on movements brought in by neighbours who'd rather not part with a watch that still had life in it. The name comes from the Spanish word for pendulum — the part that keeps a mechanical movement honest.
Over time the work expanded: crystal replacements for daily-wear watches, thorough cleaning services for pieces that had been sitting in drawers for years, and eventually a staged heirloom service for watches passed from one generation to the next. Each of these grew from an actual need brought in through the door.
Today the workshop occupies a proper space with better lighting and more tools, but the approach hasn't changed. A watch comes in, we assess it carefully, tell the owner what we find, and wait for their decision before we begin.
Mission
To return every watch in better condition than it arrived, with the owner knowing exactly what was done and why.
Values
- Honesty first. We say what we find, not what sounds better.
- Patience over speed. Some movements need time. We take it.
- Preservation over change. Especially for pieces with history.
- Clear pricing. The cost is agreed before any work starts.

How we work
Standards we hold ourselves to
Correct tools for each movement
We use calibre-appropriate tools — not generic substitutes. The wrong tool damages bridges and plates in ways that can't be undone.
Manufacturer-grade lubricants
We apply the correct lubricant to each point — not a single oil across all parts. Different surfaces need different viscosity and composition.
Timekeeping verified
After every movement service, we run the watch for a period and confirm rate before it is returned. No piece leaves without a check.
Approval before changes
For heirloom pieces, no change of character is made without the owner's sign-off. We document what was discussed and what was agreed.
Safe storage during service
Pieces left with us are stored in labelled compartments away from dust and humidity. We account for every watch in the workshop at all times.
Client information kept private
Details shared with us — contact information, watch history, family notes — are held for service purposes only and not passed to outside parties.
Expertise
Watch repair in Nonthaburi
Watch repair is a trade built on precision and patience. A movement may have dozens of parts fitted within a space no wider than a coin. Disturbing any of them incorrectly — using the wrong tool, applying too much force, or skipping a cleaning step — can affect rate, reliability, or longevity. At Pendulo we approach every service with that in mind.
The Nonthaburi area has a long history of craft workshops. We've operated here long enough to build relationships with local owners who bring in watches they've carried for decades and owners who want to start a new piece off well. Both are treated the same way: with attention, at a fair price, and with a clear account of what was done.
